Job Context:
∎ Following the massive displacement of more than 688,000 people into Bangladesh since end of August 2017, Tdh has put in place an important emergency response plan to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees, notably on Nutrition, Health, WASH and Protection.
∎ The Community mobilizer will facilitate the interaction between the Rohingya Refugee camps & host Community in Tdh Project areas at Teknaf. The Community mobilizer will reinforce the accountability of the community.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAIN TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ He/she will organize relevant focus group according to the need related to the WASH Project
∎ Facilitate communication with the community and key stakeholder
∎ Identify and promote community initiatives
∎ Maintaining communication with community leaders (Majhi, Religious Leader and etc.).
∎ Establish good linkage with the community
∎ Actively participate in the emergency response and feedback
∎ Actively participate on the feedback mechanism
∎ Collect accurate data at the community level
∎ Assist in conducting relevant survey
∎ Organize Meeting and training
∎ Report to the line manager on weekly basis on the achievement
∎ OTHER TASK:
∎ Ability to accept new responsibilities or tasks if asked by the line manager
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2-3 years of relevant experience
∎ Academic qualification can be relaxed for highly experienced candidate
∎ IT Knowledge
∎ Hard Working
∎ Sincere & Responsible
∎ Intelligent, Promptness
∎ Relevant experience on WASH
∎ Local language is mandatory English skill will be preferable
∎ Demonstrate good communication skill
∎ Demonstrate good conflict resolution skill
∎ Good organizing skill is expected
∎ Relevant experience in awareness raising and mobilizing to community people
∎ Good understanding on participatory approach
∎ Good understanding on Rohingya camp
∎ Good capacity to work under pressure
Salary: Tk. 28000 (Monthly)
