Additional Requirements:
- Age At most 45 years
8-10 years of relevant experience in reputed educational institutions.
Retired defense personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) are encouraged to apply.
Educational qualifications will be relaxed for retired ex-defense personnel.
Experience in handling emotional and psychological issues of students.
He/she should be very affectionate and polite with the Students.
He/she will attend all sort of the well-being, comfort, and happiness of the students in the Hostel.
He/she will be very courteous to the parents and create confidence in them that their child is living in a very safe and secure environment.
To ensure that he/she is always impartial and fair equally to all the students. Interact with the children by providing regular orientation on the important aspects of Safety precautions, guidelines, and principles to be followed.
He/she needs to be cautious of his/her own conduct, behavior, character, habits, punctuality, and sense of moral values at all times.
Responsibilities & Context:
He/She is overall responsible for both Academic and Administrative issues of the hostel.
Responsible for ensuring routines are followed, including meal times, bedtimes and all other daily activities.
Responsible for Safety, security, punctuality, taking care of students, communication with parents, and management.
Checking the Housekeeping work of Hostel, Washroom hygiene & sanitation.
Discipline among students of the hostels. Look into the grievances/complaints of the students.
Responsible for addressing medical and personal emergencies of all students.
Calling for self-study and controlling and monitoring Self Study of the Students after School Hours.
Room Allotment to the new Inducted students.
Ensure safety and security of all students at all times.
To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel.
To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostel and maintain a ragging-free hostel.
Ensure no damage to the hostel furniture and fittings and timely repair and maintenance of the hostel.
Supervision of students calling to Parents on weekly basis.
Must ensure that students report for different activities as per the schedule of the daily routine.
Supervise that all students get up and sleep on time.
Lights are off of the dormitories as per the schedule of the daily routine.
Rounds are to be carried out even after the lights are off.17. Checking of the belongings of the students shall be done at the time of reporting after availing leave.
Registers & reports Maintenance.
Visit the dormitories and the surroundings on daily basis and ensure that dormitories & surroundings are neat & clean and free from any risk /danger.Hostel Super shall process the leave application of students.
To issue “Outstation form” to students who are going home etc.
Collect the filled up form and hence maintain a record of the absence of the students from the Hostel.It’s a 24/7 job, the person should have the mentality to work according to this schedule.
Any other duties assigned by Management.
