Job Position: Head of Audit/Manager

Position Summary:

This position has to provide reasonable assurance to Audit committee of the Board that there are effective and efficient compliance on policies and procedures in place, well understood and that the company is complying with all regulatory requirements.

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Ensure reliability, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and management information across the organization.

• Plan, lead, and execute audit activities in alignment with company policies and audit standards, and report the findings to management.

• Ensure full compliance with company act 1994, applicable laws, regulations, Bangladesh Bank guidelines, and internal rules and regulation.

• Develop and implement the Annual Internal Audit Plan, covering all departments, subject to approval by the Audit Committee of the Board and report to management there on.

• Conduct and supervise internal audit works as per the approved audit plan and ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations.

• Monitor compliance with internal audit observations, regulatory findings, and management directives.

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory reports to Bangladesh Bank and other relevant authorities.

• Document weekly meeting minutes and monitor follow-up actions for compliance.

• Support management in strengthening internal control systems and risk management practices.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

• Conduct factory-level audits, including inventory checks, production capacity assessment, and raw materials consumption analysis.

• Conduct audits on purchasing processes, bank reconciliation, and other financial transactions. Perform and oversee inspection of cash, receivables, payable, and physical inventory.

Educational Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System

• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

• Professional certification such as CC, ACCA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.

• Along with 4-5 years of experience in Bank/FI compliance

• Skills Required: Internal Audit, Banks & Financial, Documentation of Loan, Presentation skill, Audit reporting, Analytical Skill

Experience Requirements

• 8 to 15 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Should have in-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Bank and regulatory circulars, with skills to plan/organize internal audits (including audit plans, scheduling, and team assignments).

• Strong presentation/report-writing abilities and leadership to manage/motivate staff.

• Experience in IT audit will be given preference.
