∎ Minimum HSC in any relevant subjects is required. Graduation preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and assess the security situation at Cox's Bazar Area Office and Ukhiya Field office
∎ Send daily security update (email) to Area Management Group (AMG) members
∎ Monitor daily movements in Cox's Bazar through WhatsApp group
∎ Update the Area Office risk map once a week before the weekly security brief.
∎ Support HSS Coordinator arranging training sessions and providing admin support during the training.
∎ Support HSS Coordinator in day-to-day tasks
∎ Monitor time sheet and duty assignment for guards of all security posts of Cox's Bazar. Archiving time sheets.
∎ Store Covid-19 rapid test kits and use on need basis. Maintain a tracker of using the test kits. Contact tracing for positive patients. Check and replenish (if needed) all fire extinguisher and first aid boxes at all NRC facilities and update the HSS Equipment tracker.
∎ Carry out a fortnightly briefing for security guards
∎ Maintaining HSS online and offline files.
∎ Ensure the area team has appropriate communications equipment according to risk assessment
∎ Support ICT, logistics and admin teams with any joint security tasks.
∎ Fulfil any other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 years' experience from working as security assistant, security officer or similar.
∎ Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts, preferably in Cox's Bazar.
∎ MS office (word, excel and power point).
∎ Fluency in English and local language, both written and verbal.
∎ Experience in ex-defence or government law-enforcing agencies will be an added advantage.
