Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS or MPH or similar degree from any recognized college/ university.

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conceptualize and apply ERCC project objectives and approaches with special focus to COVID, health and hygiene issues.
∎ Support to create and promote awareness on COVID and hygiene issues.
∎ Ensure that community people have increased access to both COVID and other health services including COVID vaccine.
∎ Develop monthly, quarterly and annual plan and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the COVID, health and hygienerelated planned activities of the project.
∎ Ensure selection of appropriate health service centers that are situated in the community level and catchment area.
∎ Capacity building of the field staff on COVID, health and hygiene issues.
∎ Organize and provide training to the project staff on COVID, health, hygiene and SPHERE standards.
∎ Development of health and COVID related awareness messages.
∎ Capability building of staff for COVID related awareness campaign and health safety protocols.
∎ Conduct meetings with the management committee and staff members of the health service centers that are situated at the community level and catchment area.
∎ Organize advocacy meetings with District &Upazila health departments to mobilize health care service to the slum dwellers.
∎ Development and signature of MOU as part of service agreement with community level clinics/centers/ hospitals and immunization/ vaccination camps by providing need-based supports.
∎ Organize COVID vaccination mobilization events at the community level with the support of government health departments.
∎ Follow up COVID related awareness campaigns.
∎ Regular communication with the Health Departments to ensure their support for smooth implementation of the project, especially COVID and health related activities of the project.
∎ Ensure regular collection of various data and information from the beneficiaries households, especially on COVID and health hygiene services.
∎ Carryout regular field visit and monitor filed progress and report to Project Coordination on regular basis, especially on the COVID, health and hygiene related activities of the project.
∎ Regular communication with stakeholders and government departments to channel support to beneficiaries and facilitate linkage building.
∎ Support Project Coordinator (PC) to organize meetings, workshops and other project events.
∎ Support Project Coordinator to prepare reports by providing COVID, health and hygiene services related data and information of the project.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports regarding COVID, health and hygiene related activities of the project considering progress and results.
∎ The Health Officer will be responsible for any other duties deemed appropriate by the project or/and NDP management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Minimum 1 year working experience in any health program implementation
∎ Working experience senior level project management
∎ Having working experience on climate change issues will be preferable;
∎ Commitment towards working for the slum people.
∎ Having computer knowledge MS word
∎ Having valid driving license
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
∎ BDT 30,000/- per month (40% time for MBBS but fulltime for MPH graduate) and after 3 months probationary period other benefits as per project budget
