Job Context:
∎ In conjunction with the Health Manager and Medical Doctor, the Health Facility Supervisor will be responsible for all the administrative duties for the health Center. (S)He will be one of the focal points for IRC`s health services in the field (PHCC) supporting program implementation to ensure the supplies and logistic needs for the center. (S)He will be assisting the Health Manager for operational, financial, and staffing aspects for the health team, as well as representation with key actors in the field including the Govt. stakeholders and other NGOs.

∎ Contract length: Up to January 2020 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management and Development:
∎ Strictly follow up the medical and operational supply chain system, stock recording, timely ordering for the supplies and accountabilities in relation to the warehousing and using of the supplies including medicines and medical items.
∎ Promote the culture of learning and documentation so that lessons learned and good practices are documented and shared for institutional memory and learning. Ensure that field experiences are documented and used to advocate on behalf of the communities.
∎ Monitor and supervise the referral system and follow the referral protocol from the Govt. and sector. Manage the ambulance movement from the health facility.
∎ Help the Health Manager assessing the health facility and identifying the improvements that has to be done in the health facility.
∎ Manage the ordering and raising PRs for the procurements of fuel for the generator operations in the health facility.
∎ Maintain the maintenance schedule of the generator and keep updated records of the log sheet of the generator running hours. Keep in touch with the generators repairing company in case of any repairs needs.
∎ Responsible for the running of the kitchen and operationalizing the kitchen for the staff lunch and responsible for the supervision of the cooks, guards and cleaners in the facility
∎ Work with Health Manager to make, cash forecasts for the supplies for the Health Facility.
∎ Ensure the cleanliness of the health facility, the ward, the beds in the wards and the delivery rooms and monitor the waste disposal in the health facility
∎ Ensure all the lighting and the water system in the health facility is operational and replace any broken items imStaff Supervision & Development
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and mentorship to enable staff (CHV) to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Supervise the guards, cleaners and the cooks in the health facility
∎ mediately without delay.
∎ Other Duties:
∎ Consistently and dedicatedly monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Supervisor/IRC management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives.
∎ Previous experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting
∎ Excellent computer skills in programs such as: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and any data management software
∎ Should be a great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy.
∎ Ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptive.
∎ Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high pressure situations.
∎ Fluency in English preferable.
