Educational Requirements:

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Trade Service function (at least 05 years in management level)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervision &, Monitoring of all Foreign Trade related works and its operational control.
∎ Oversee the functions of Centralized Trade Processing Unit (CTPU) and OBU of the Bank
∎ Design and development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of Trade services operations under centralized model
∎ Supervise and monitor the functions of Treasury Back Office including maintenance of CRR and SLR, investment in different Bonds, Fund Management in Nostro Accounts, RTGS Transactions and implementation of recommendations of ALCO.
∎ Initiate new correspondent banking relationship with foreign banks and multilateral agencies and maintain the existing ones for smooth cross border transactions and for reciprocity of business purpose.
∎ Establish SWIFT arrangement with correspondent banks
∎ Arrange credit lines, trade loans, OBU funding from correspondent banks/multilateral agencies
∎ Implement the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank for prevention of Trade based money laundering
∎ Monitoring Cash Incentive fund & EDF claim to Bangladesh Bank and settlement thereof after receiving the fund from Bangladesh Bank
∎ Compliance of inspection report of Bangladesh Bank, Board Audit and Internal Audit & Inspection Divisions
∎ Comprehensive Inspection & auditing the daily basis reporting to the online Foreign Exchange transaction monitoring system & Bangladesh Bank
∎ Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements, and that all internal and external audit recommendations are implemented
