Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals of Akij Health and Beauty Ltd.
Oversee end-to-end procurement, imports, inventory management, and logistics to ensure cost optimization and timely delivery.
Plan and manage multiple local contract manufacturers and C&F agents, ensuring consistent product availability and quality.
Build and maintain supplier partnerships to secure best-in-class materials, pricing, and delivery performance.
Establish robust demand and supply planning frameworks to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce working capital.
Drive automation, data accuracy, and transparency across supply chain operations.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives through process improvement, vendor negotiations, and logistics optimization.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, import/export, and internal control standards.
Collaborate closely with Production, Marketing, and Finance teams to support new product launches and operational alignment.
Develop and mentor the supply chain team to build capability, efficiency, and accountability.
Monitor KPIs and present performance insights to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.
