Applicants must have expertise in pattern making of denim garments
18+ years of hands-on experience in Sample & CAD operations, preferably in woven and denim garments
Strong expertise in CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex v23 preferred)
In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and marker efficiency
Excellent leadership, planning, and team management skills
Strong communication skills with buyers and cross-functional teams
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail

Responsibilities:
Develop accurate patterns as per buyer requirements through the merchandising team and ensure timely delivery
Prepare samples after buyer approval and coordinate with relevant garment divisions
Ensure all changes to approved samples are communicated promptly to concerned departments
Check sketching and sampling to ensure compliance with buyer requirements
Create master patterns for all garment sizes (XS to XL) using measurement charts, CAD systems, and grading devices
Optimize marker layouts to minimize fabric wastage and ensure accurate marking
Maintain and verify sketches, patterns, specifications, and design details to determine fabric requirements and product consumption
Mark and label samples with essential information (size, section, style, sewing instructions, etc.)
Evaluate all sample stages (design, proto, fit, red seal, gold seal) received from buyers
Possess thorough knowledge of fabric consumption, pattern grading, CAD marker efficiency, fabric quality, seam strength, shrinkage, washing effects, and performance tests
Assess risks in woven and knit garment manufacturing processes
Drive cost reduction through efficient CAD operations and 100% accurate marker making
Review and verify shrinkage allowances, pattern grouping, corrections, and adjustments according to fit models
Make necessary pattern corrections after size sets or pilot run sampling, based on QC/QA justifications
Lead and oversee the entire CAD department to ensure smooth and effective operations
