Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a results-driven, commercially astute, and highly credible Head of Sales to lead nationwide sales performance and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role is critical in strengthening market presence, accelerating customer acquisition, and enhancing overall profitability while maintaining a competitive and innovative edge.

The Head of Sales will be responsible for sales strategy, market expansion, and revenue delivery, with strong cross-functional leadership to ensure seamless alignment with operations. The role will closely coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and factory production to ensure stock availability, timely raw material procurement, efficient production planning, and profitability by product segment.

The position demands a leader who can translate market insights into actionable sales plans, balance demand with operational capacity, and drive disciplined execution across regions. Candidates with proven experience in the Tea industry and multinational FMCG environments, particularly in consumer-driven sales operations, will be preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Development

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and developing the sales team.
  • Design and implement strategic business plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, client needs, and emerging market shifts.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports along with realistic forecasts to management.
  • Analyze competitors’ offerings, pricing, and market demand to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive nationwide dealer/distributor development, channel expansion, and customer relationship management.

Operations & Profitability

  • Ensure timely stock availability across all territories to support uninterrupted sales.
  • Ensure procurement of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.
  • Collaborate with factory management to ensure timely production that aligns with sales demand forecasts.
  • Monitor costs, supply-demand dynamics, and pricing strategies to maximize profit margins.
  • Provide end-to-end visibility into the sales pipeline, supply status, and operational readiness.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, coach, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve both sales and operational excellence.
  • Ensure close coordination between sales, marketing, operations, and production teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies that drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
  • Continuously review and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and customer service.
