The Head of Sales will lead and oversee the nationwide sales operations of Golden Harvest Ice Cream Ltd., the home of the Bloop brand. This role is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, setting the strategic direction for the sales function, and ensuring strong market penetration across all regions. The position also involves developing, mentoring, and managing the sales team to enhance overall performance, while building strong trade relationships and ensuring effective execution of sales plans. The Head of Sales will play a key role in shaping the company’s market presence, optimizing distribution reach, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop an annual Business plan, sales budget, and gross-profit plans based on marketing strategies and market analysis.
Set yearly sales objectives through forecasting, sales quotas, and projections for current and new products.
Drive national sales programs by creating, repairing, and executing field sales action plans.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring demand, economic shifts, and competitor activity.
Build professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, and networking.
Contribute to business goals by delivering results aligned with company objectives.
Ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets in line with company sales policies.
Assist HR in hiring new sales personnel.
Setting up and assisting in new dealer, corporate client, etc.
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet monthly sales and KPI targets.
Manage performance reviews, rewards, and recognition to support team success.
Evaluate sales team strengths and areas for improvement to adjust programs accordingly.
Provide field support during lead generation, negotiations, and deal closures.
Meet key customers to understand evolving needs and strengthen relationships.
Introduce new sales strategies and initiatives to reach key customer groups.
Manage direct accounts and support distribution partners during order closing.
Build ongoing knowledge of market conditions, competitor movements, and customer needs.
Develop and execute territory sales plans and visit all over the country time to time.
Review distribution channels, evaluate performance, and handle channel conflicts.
Maintain accurate data on partners, accounts, and customer interactions.
Prepare and submit required sales reports to the Management.
Any other task assigned by the Management.
