Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors

1. A bachelor`s degree in Textile Engineering/Garment Manufacturing Technology/ Industrial Engineering/ Chemistry or Chemical Engineering having Six Sigma certifications /ISO certification, particularly in ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)/ TQM certification will be beneficial & considered to be added qualifications.

1. 12-15 years of experience in garment manufacturing, including roles in production management, or quality control, and washing and finishing processes.
2. 3-5 years’ experience in Senior Management roles in Quality function as AGM/DGM Quality Assurance/Head of Quality in RMG industry.
3. Deep understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and finishing processes.
4. Quality Control & Assurance SOP development.
5. SPC and other quality control techniques and ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.       
6. Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, and customers.

Job Summary:

Lead and implement a robust quality management system that ensures the highest standards of product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, best practices to optimize processes and reduce defects, ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry regulations. This role also requires a collaborative approach, partnering with the team to ensure that high standards are consistently met in all production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality SOP (Guidelines), policies, and procedures across the SG-MH group to ensure product quality and consistency.
2. Oversee the quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards before they reach the market.
3. Provide report related to Quality issues with comprehensive analysis and action plans.
4. Conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Address customer complaints and issues related to product quality promptly and effectively.
6. Implement corrective actions and communicate solutions to customers.
7. Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of necessary certifications such as ISO, and others relevant to the RMG industry.   
8. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in quality processes. Use tools like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Quality Management (TQM) to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
9. Lead and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
10. Provide training to staff on quality standards, processes and best practices.
11. Ensure that all employees understand their role in maintaining product quality.
