Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with quality & production managers, Production Planning & Control and Merchandising to ensure proper system, controls and test protocols are in place to assure the buyer specifications are implemented and the product meets or exceed customer expectations.
∎ Monitor quality standards based on indices like CPM, Process loss of material, control, first pass yield, defects per hundred units, etc. Organize PP meeting, cutting permissions, inspections, reporting & record keeping.
∎ Analyse customer complaints to improve product quality and finding the root cause behind the problem.
∎ Responsible for implementing quality assurance & controlling procedure for all production units.
∎ Develop and implement Company’s Quality Assurance Systems and Policies as per compliance.
∎ Supervise the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving inputs to the production staff.
∎ Supervise QC cycle of a production unit by controlling samples; follow up materials production in-house status, control materials in-house testing, organize PP meeting, cutting permission, inspection, reporting & record keeping.
∎ Implement measures to maintain cut to ship ratio, reduce trims and accessories rejections, NPT and report issues to the management.
∎ Implement measures to ensure continuous improvement in buyer’s SRM rating.
∎ Ultimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end. Report quality deterioration issues and issues to Line incharge and Production Manager immediately.
∎ Ensure implementation and execution of the SOPs and lean management through Quality Parameters and principle.
