 Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years in advertising operations, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale advertising campaigns from planning to execution.
  • Strong experience in ad-serving systems

  

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising technologies, CRM, programmatic platforms, and tracking systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, behavioral targeting, and audience segmentation.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal teams and client interactions.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to translate complex data into business insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities & Context:

Role Overview

The Head of Advertising Operations is responsible for leading the agency’s advertising operations team, ensuring the smooth execution of all advertising campaigns across digital, broadcast, and traditional platforms. This role demands a strong balance of leadership, strategy, and technical expertise. The Head of Operations will oversee campaign delivery, reporting, innovation, and process optimization to achieve client success and agency growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and manage the advertising operations team.

Oversee scheduling, production, and execution of all advertising campaigns. Act as the primary liaison between operations and other business units (sales, marketing, creative, and product). Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability.

 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced advertising strategies using data-driven insights.
  • Deploy sophisticated campaigns across multiple ad platforms (digital, broadcast, print, OOH).
  • Continuously optimize campaign strategies to maximize ROI and achieve client objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure campaigns are planned and delivered effectively.
  • Collaborate with Product & Design teams to implement process improvements.
  • Maintain strong client-facing communication when required, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.

 

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize delivery based on KPIs.
  • Create dashboards and performance reports for clients and senior management.
  • Recommend actionable insights to improve future campaigns and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical ad-serving issues and ensure seamless campaign delivery.

 

Knowledge & Innovation

  • Establish best practices for campaign setup, optimization, measurement, and reporting.
  • Research and adopt emerging advertising technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Document internal procedures and provide training for junior staff.
