Job Grade: Vice President (VP) - Executive Vice President (EVP)
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline from a reputed UGC approved university.
Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 12 years of banking experience, with at least 7 years in managerial position at investment risk management/administration.
Strong knowledge of Islamic banking and Shariah-compliant investment practices.
Proven leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the Investment Administration Division and oversee all investment-related operations.
Formulate and implement investment policies, procedures and monitoring frameworks.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and Shariah guidelines.
Supervise investment documentation, portfolio management and reporting activities.
Provide strategic insights to senior management and the Board on investment opportunities.
Strengthen risk management practices and ensure effective internal controls.
Develop and mentor team members to build a high-performing division.
Collaborate with other divisions to align investment strategies with organizational goals.
