Experience:
Bachelor/ Masters in Industrial Production Engineering (IPE)/ B.Sc in Textile
Capable of managing the industrial engineering department independently;
Must be enthusiastic and committed to achievement and result oriented;
Sound knowledge in computer operation;
Must have the ability to work under pressure;
Must have good communication and presentation skills.
Oversee the entire production floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production plans;
Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and line balancing against planned targets;
Drive Industrial Engineering (IE) initiatives to improve SMV, CM, line efficiency, and overall productivity;
Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, resource optimization, and process improvement;
Ensure on-time delivery of all orders by closely monitoring Time & Action (T&A) plans;
Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to align production schedules with buyer requirements;
Lead manpower planning, allocation, and training for operators, supervisors, and line chiefs;
Work closely with Production teams to reduce rejection rates, rework, and wastage;
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in coordination with IE and technical teams;
Review machine layout, capacity utilization, and efficiency reports to optimize line setups;
Analyze production data, efficiency trends, and KPI reports, and present findings to top management;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S across the factory;
Build and maintain discipline, motivation, and performance culture among production teams;
Liaise with senior management and provide input in strategic decision-making regarding capacity expansion and automation;
Ensure accurate SMV calculation and garment costing support in coordination with Merchandising/Finance;
Manage production planning and control (PPC) in collaboration with the central planning department;
Implement digital monitoring systems (MIS/ERP) to track real-time production performance;
Lead crisis management during order pressure, production delays, or unexpected disruptions;
Draw VSM & analyze it to reduce the lead time;
Implement Visual Management (SQNP Board);
Finishing SMV Calculation using by GSD;
Analyzed all Departments lost time report’s weekly/monthly & approach preventive action report;
Find the fault in the existing layout and make a way of improvement;
Any others task assigned by the management.
