Context:

For our FlexiPak factory, we are looking for a dynamic factory head. This role ensures efficient production processes, quality control, and timely delivery of products. The Head of Factory manages resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and business objectives. They also foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely manufacturing and delivery according to customer requests.

• Develop and deploy daily prioritized work schedules with deadlines.

• Set, monitor, and review workload schedules. Monitor and review production progress to ensure on-time delivery.

• Adjust production schedules and communicate changes to customers.

• Ensure quality standards in manufacturing operations.

• Ensure production activities are time and cost-efficient. Maintain and repair all plant and equipment.

• Ensure production processes and environments support high-quality output.

• Monitor manufacturing methods to meet customer specifications.

• Address product nonconformance promptly and inform customers.

• Process nonconformance paperwork for all rejects. Maintain compliance with codes of conduct, social compliance, and ISO standards.

• Ensure availability of raw materials for final production.

• Plan and coordinate all inventory management activities.

• Organize and resource goods inward and distribution departments. Follow up on delayed materials to avoid production holdups.

• Ensure finished products are packaged, labeled, and delivered on time.

• Optimize manufacturing and inventory systems for efficiency.

• Plan manpower according to staffing needs. Ensure recruitment and employment comply with company procedures and laws.

• Conduct annual performance appraisals. Motivate and retain employees.

• Control operational and manufacturing costs within budget. Reduce non-value-added activities in manufacturing processes.

• Manage change to meet business requirements. Implement processes to reduce inventory, increase throughput, and minimize costs.

• Uphold company standards and performance ideology.
