• Strong knowledge of dyeing technology and processes.

• In-depth understanding of dyes, chemicals, and their applications.

• Proven production planning and execution skills.

• Proficiency in SAP or relevant ERP systems.

• Sound knowledge of costing, material handling, floor management, and resource utilization.

• Ability to effectively manage manpower, machinery, and production operations.

• Up-to-date knowledge of modern dyeing machines and equipment

1. Plan and manage all activities for the dyeing and washing departments, assuming responsibility for production volume, quality, cost, and delivery.

2. Develop and execute a workflow plan as per the budgeted targets.

3. Manage the dyeing and washing schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.

4. Ensure appropriate production inventory control procedures.

5. Ensure the raw materials and finished goods always meet customers’ requirements.

6. Obtain and deliver outsourced orders meeting customers’ requirements, having approval from the CFOO.

7. Coordinate and ensure that the department’s machinery and equipment are maintained at optimal operating levels.

8. Responsible for using lean principles and operating practices to establish, maintain, and improve the production process.

9. Direct dyeing and washing activities to ensure that products are produced within the established time, cost control, and quality standards.

10. Control operations cost within approved budgets by evaluating actual expenditures with budgeted costs, taking appropriate actions.

11. Coordinate and direct the administration and HR activities in the dyeing and washing departments in consultation with the BU HR Manager to ensure that company personnel policies and procedures are properly administered.

12. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace.

13. Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.

14. Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.

15. Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs, and manage their career development.

16. Foster a positive and responsive culture whilst ensuring the production schedule is met.

17. Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage and extra hours of work.
