Experience:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Statistics
• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Statistics
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• IBA, Dhaka University,University of Dhaka students will get preference

• Candidate having training on Claims related topic will get preferrance.

A claim manager receives, assesses and manages the claims made by insurence. Essentially, they assess whether or not a claim is valid and organize any action that is needed.

• Responsible for implementing best practices based on company goals.
• Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
•  Responsible for preparing executive reporting and analysis that is consistent with defined standards and processes.
•  Provide technical guidance to staff on claim investigation, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims.
•  Partner with analytical team to produce necessary results and trending reports for leadership.
•  Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of claims department.
•  Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process.
•  Remain current on tort reform and aware of impact on claims management strategies.
•  Collaborate with other Claims and business leaders to define and drive enterprise initiatives.
•  Assist or prepare files for lawsuit, trial or subrogation.
•  Manage complex general liability and automobile claims, both litigated and non-litigated.
•  Conduct annual plan and budget preparation under guidance provided by leadership.
•  Create an environment that encourages and values the opinions of others and promotes sharing of information and ideas.
•  Provide staff with standards of performance and inform them of job expectations.
•  Oversee monitoring and tracking of individual and unit's performance against established productivity and quality metrics.
•  Approve claim settlement within designated authority limit.
•  Manage all claim matters.
•  Manage recovery of claims.
•  Manage team of claim managers and claim executives.
•  Oversee claims for daily operations.
•  Provide guidance to the team for overall development.
•  Review business risk with claim team.
•  Work closely with other Heads of Department to provide recommendations to improve product and pricing.
•  Maintain liaison with Sadharon Bima Corporation (SBC)
