Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Managing day to day store operations.Responsible for overall operation of finish fabric store Issue & delivery process.
∎ Must have daily handling capacity 50-ton fabric receive from dyeing section and delivery 35-ton fabric in cutting section & outside delivery.
∎ Ensuring accurate receiving from dyeing section with all supporting documents & further delivery to Concern party as well as cutting section.
∎ Preparing accurate inventory in ERP system & reporting time to time to the concern persons.Have to maintain left over fabric stock with proper reasons.
∎ Preservation of all incoming goods systematically against each order.
∎ Preservation in a manner preventing theft, pilferage, missing/ missing damage deterioration.
∎ Proper staking of material on pallets, racks or platforms to avoid damage or deterioration.Maintain labels, Bin cards for all materials according to applicable systems of store management.
∎ To coordinate and procure all raw materials ordered by respective Merchandiser, person or department concern before production starts.To issue correct raw materials against each order.
∎ To arrange delivering materials to the production floor representative with proper recording.
∎ Procurement of all packing materials in time as requirement, as per quality, quality and supply to the production floor correctly against proper record.
∎ Issue of fabrics to as per production plan / requirement.Ensure arrangement of transportation for delivering the finish fabric as per requirement.
∎ To ensure loading of correct quantity and provide correct document against each delivery.Supervise in keeping all records of delivery in the prescribed register.
∎ To coordinate with respective suppliers for getting the supply in time.Daily recording and updating of internal ERP System / books / registers of the store.Arrange storing of all materials in the store maintaining compliance according to the buyer’s requirement.
∎ Maintain stores cleanliness, dry and pest control.Preparing store inventory report and properly update to the management.
∎ Maintaining liaison with related department and cater their requirement successfully.
∎ To sign the delivery challan after confirmation of correct quantity and purpose of delivery.
∎ Collaborate with production, planning, and quality control teams to ensure fabric availability aligns with production schedules.
∎ Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies regarding fabric storage and handling.
∎ Monitor fabric usage and minimize wastage during storage and handling.
∎ Address and resolve issues related to fabric shortages, quality discrepancies, or delivery delays.Implement corrective actions for inventory discrepancies or operational inefficiencies
∎ Maintain inventory of store by using ERP system & ensure all receive and distribution of store materials are properly documented and released.
∎ Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to provide fabric options that meet style, functionality, and cost targets.Implement testing protocols to ensure fabric performance (colorfastness, shrinkage, pilling, etc.).
∎ Troubleshoot fabric-related issues during production and recommend solutions.
∎ Any others task assigned by the management.
