• Experience Requirements: At least 18 years of total experience out of which at least 12 years in banking sector specially in Card & ADC.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in cards & ADC, with at least 3 years as Head of Card role.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful card business strategies.
• Clear knowledge about latest card & ADC technology.
• Experience of working with Visa, MasterCard & NPSB to implement card & ADC related projects.
• Clear understanding & working experience in Card Operation & Recovery.
• Strong understanding of card market and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

Job Summary:

The Head of Cards will play a pivotal role in shaping bank’s card business, operation, payment technology & recovery. This leadership position requires a strategic designer with extensive experience in all aspects of Payment Card Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cards & ADC related matters of the bank.

• Rank: Vice President (VP) to Senior Vice President (SVP).
• Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Major Responsibilities of Head of Cards:

• Drive the Bank’s digital transformation goal by advancing cutting-edge payment service innovations, with particular emphasis on digital payments and modern service delivery channels.
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies in shaping card business landscape to achieve organizational goals.
• Develop marketing strategy, product design, pricing and propositions for the Card products.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Card Division & ADC, ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Dedicatedly monitor card recovery with respective team to maintain a healthy card portfolio.
• Collaborate with other departments to align card business strategies with overall business objectives and financial goals.
• Must have in-depth knowledge about state-of-art latest card & ADC technology to ensure the bank remains up to date to the modern products & services.
• Must have working experience in project implementation with Visa, MasterCard & NPSB.
• Acquisition of new card merchants and nurture existing merchants by maintaining lucrative features for the end user.
• Liaison with Visa, Master & NPSB card authorities to remain conversant with emerging trends.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and internal policies.
