  • Minimum 05 years of experience in any reputed Bank with 02 years of experience in Branch Management (Branch Manager) / Branch Operations.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having MTO/PO background in commercial banks/ financial institution.

  • Candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services, with the ability to drive change and innovation.

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Job Level: Senior Executive Officer to Senior Vice President (in different categories of branch).

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by expanding the customer base and achieving branch-level targets for deposits, loans, foreign trade and other commission/ fee-based areas.
  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new corporate clients to expand the bank’s customer base, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business strategy.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with corporate clients, ensuring superior service, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships (Retail & SME) through cross-selling, retention strategies, and personalized engagement.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective clients to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities, and provide proactive solutions.
  • Enhance the branch’s business performance by effectively managing the income statement and balance sheet.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, ensure sustainable asset growth and asset quality, enforce adherence to bank policies, credit standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Evaluate client needs, assess creditworthiness, appraisal of proposal with proper scrutiny and coordinate with the credit department for approval and monitoring of facilities.
  • Allocate business target among all RMs of the branch/business unit and supervise, guide, motivate and monitor the RMs (Sales/Business teams) to consistently achieve sales and service goals.
  • Proper distribution of work among branch personnel through well-defined tasks and responsibilities and ensure that right people are placed in the right positions.
  • Lead the branch in delivering superior customer service while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Foster an effective sales and service culture within the branch/business unit.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, compliance, and continuous development through coaching, performance reviews, and staff training.
  • Liaise and maintain relationship with internal teams (credit, operations, compliance, audit, etc.) and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Provide updates on business, industry, and regulatory developments to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor or Management of the Bank.
