Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure all loan files comply with CRM documentation checklists, credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Establish and enforce standardized document verification procedures for sales teams.
Coordinate with sales branches, credit and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and expedite approvals.
Review asset and liability account opening files for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
Authenticate KYC documents, income proofs, collateral papers and supporting documents.
Lead the Pre-Assessment Unit and oversee end-to-end review of retail loan applications.
Monitor unit performance (volumes reviewed, turnaround time, error rates) and report compliance metrics to senior management.
Maintain and update loan MIS records with verification and processing status.
Ensure loan files are audit-ready and support internal quality assurance reviews.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Bank Management.
