Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop annually a risk-based internal audit plan for Audit Committee review and approval.
∎ Oversee the implementation of the approved plan, ensure proper resourcing for implementation of the plan, and adjust the plan as needed in response to changes in Bank’s business risks and operations.
∎ Perform organization-wise risk assessments to identify significant risks or exposure related to internal controls or compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures, laws and regulations.
∎ Ensure methodical documentation of work plans, audit results, conclusions and recommendations.
∎ Provide assistance with investigations, special audits, and provide subject-matter expertise as needed.
∎ Provide feedback and recommendations on business risks and improving operational efficiencies and processes where appropriate.
∎ Coordinate and assist with the preparation for Audit Committee meeting.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 12 years in banking out of which 3 years’ as Head of Audit
∎ Must be capable of assessing the business as well as control risks of branches/divisions
∎ Must have sound knowledge on core risks in banking specially Credit/Foreign Exchange Operation
∎ Must be able to prepare standard report on audit/inspection independently
∎ Must have strong communication skills
