Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s in Commerce/ MBA in Accounting or Finance from any reputed institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Financial reporting of all units in BRAC Services Limited (BSL) for Management and other stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies.
∎ Undertake analytical review of financial statements, agreements/ contracts etc. before signing on behalf of BSL.
∎ Implement, monitor and evaluate accounts strategies, policies and procedures and making recommendation as necessary.
∎ Provide continuous support to stockholders for analysing and financial planning of BSL and its units.
∎ Prepare chart of accounts of different new projects, update and modify existing charts (if any).
∎ Ensure management of teams which includes hiring, training, coaching, appraising job contributions and recommending compensation actions.
∎ Coordinate annual budget formulation and prepare annual budget, analyse actual results to budget vs forecast and circulate to appropriate Management.
∎ Implement, monitor, evaluate ensure practice of procurement/ supply chain strategies, policies and procedures and making recommendation as necessary.
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the organization by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Previous work experience in Accounts/ Finance sectors is required.
∎ Previous work experience in Corporate/ Tourism and Hospitality industries/ MNC is required.
∎ Sound knowledge on Budget, Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Tax, VAT, Treasury.
∎ Knowledge of preparation of various budgets and implementation of budget.
∎ Practical knowledge of budget variance analysis.
∎ Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hard-working and willing to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English.
∎ Computer literate with sound understanding of organisation ERP.
∎ CA/ CMA/ ACA will be an added qualification.
