∎ Age 30 to 55 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
∎ Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
∎ Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
∎ Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
∎ Cook according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and numbers of portions to be served.
∎ Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
∎ Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
∎ Plan menus that are varied, nutritionally balanced, and appetizing, taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
∎ Cook will be responsible for various aspects of food preparation in several different types of establishments & supervising others who are responsible for performing tasks related to cooking.
∎ Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Areas.
∎ Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
∎ Before cooking the cooker will have to be cleaned his hands with hand wash.
∎ After cooking make ensure that the kitchen will be sanitized.
∎ Always serve the dishes at right time.
