Responsibilities & Context:
Greenland Training Center Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Chef Trainer to lead our culinary training programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing training modules, designing commercial kitchen operations, preparing food production SOPs, and delivering high-quality practical and classroom-based training to aspiring chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver comprehensive chef training programs.
Prepare structured training modules, lesson plans, and practical assessment criteria.
Design commercial kitchen layouts and recommend equipment based on operational requirements.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on culinary training.
Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hospitality industry standards.
Support the continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or professional certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience, including experience in chef training or culinary instruction.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial kitchen setup, menu planning, and food production.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen management systems.
Proven ability to develop structured training modules and instructional materials.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Candidates
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Have served as an Instructor at Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation or any recognized government/private hospitality training institute.
Possess industry-recognized certifications in food safety or culinary training.
Have experience training professional chefs for hotels, restaurants, or institutional kitchens.
