Key Responsibilities
Manage and support daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring smooth food preparation and service delivery.
Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Monitor food quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety standards to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience.
Supervise and guide Commis staff, ensuring proper mise-en-place, teamwork, and adherence to kitchen procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, minimize wastage, and coordinate with senior chefs regarding stock requirements and quality control.
Maintain HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards while supporting special events, buffet operations, and other kitchen activities as required.
