Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hardware and Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our company's hardware, software, and networks. The role requires an individual who can ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, workstations, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
∎ • Troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity issues.
∎ • Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
∎ • Add or upgrade and configure disk drives, printers, and related equipment.
∎ • Perform and ensure proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
∎ • Provide network accounts and passwords as required.
∎ • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
∎ • May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
