Job Context
The post of Assistant Manager – Sales is primarily concerned with sales, marketing, branding, corporate partnership and sales leadership across the Hotel on all aspects of the products areas of the company. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the strategic sales plans and be required to ensure that sales and marketing plans and policies and procedures are implemented.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and support the sales team to achieve assigned room, banquet, and event sales targets.
Develop, implement, and regularly review sales plans aligned with the hotel’s vision and goals.
Execute sales strategies to drive occupancy, maximize revenue, and enhance market presence.
Set periodical targets, monitor performance, and optimize strategies accordingly.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying customer needs and market trends.
Plan and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and activation programs to attract new business.
Identify new markets, corporate clients, travel partners, and event opportunities.
Provide guidelines to ensure effective sales strategies that deliver exceptional guest experience.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
Support management in additional sales or marketing initiatives as required.
