Job Context:
∎ Chemonics International, Inc., a U.S.-based international development consulting firm, is seeking a Government Liaison Advisor for an upcoming USAID-funded activity that will support higher secondary education in Bangladesh.
∎ This position will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
∎ Employment Status: Full-time employee with benefits.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact between the activity and government counterparts, fostering positive relationships and effective coordination and collaboration.
∎ Monitor and analyze national education policies, regulations, and initiatives related to the activity, and provide strategies for engaging with governmental stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least four years of experience liaising and facilitating client engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including high-level government of Bangladesh officials, international donors, and others
∎ Demonstrated experience and understanding of Bangladesh's education sector and education policies
∎ Demonstrated understanding of policymaking processes, strategic planning, and strategy development
∎ Relevant experience working with USAID, or other international donors is preferred, as is experience working with donor-funded education programs
∎ Advanced proficiency in English required, with excellent written and oral communication skills

∎ Negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and salary history.
