Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from a reputed University majoring in Fabric Manufacturing Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the development, implementation, and strict adherence to a Knitting / Dyeing Production;
∎ Assist to develop and manage Knitting / Dyeing program in a phased and prioritized manner with full consultation and co-ordination;
∎ Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required;
∎ Manage and maintain the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the required quality of the Knit / Dyeing -fabrics;
∎ Estimate machine requirements, working hour, working day and manpower as per fabric category & quantity;
∎ Provide regular updates and technical guidance to team on progress, priorities and challenges - verbally and in writing;
∎ Creation of staff work plans, staff training and development activities;
∎ Ensure maximum efficiency of all machines, optimum production, on-time delivery of goods, and standard quality;
∎ Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measures;
∎ Work with other departments for committed orders and monitor production Critical Path to ensure timely delivery;
∎ Manage and sustain a full functional Effluent Treatment Plant maintaining operational guidelines, procedures and practices;
∎ Compile control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage non-conformity material discrepancy reports, and recommend continuous improvement activities;
∎ Manage and improve operational performance through process improvement, worker training, and technology upgrade;
∎ Monitor Knitting & Dyeing machine performance & maximum M/Cs hour utilization and arrange sub-contract orders for stop machines;
∎ Monitor Dyeing factories where orders are running and liaison with R&D department for on time bulk production as required parameter;
∎ Analyze, control and reduce cost, wastage and manage work in progress;
∎ Review complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews corrective actions with appropriate personnel;
∎ Prepare reports and other documentation required to support the quality function;
∎ Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
∎ Carryout any other assignment given by the management time to time;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 15 years' experience in related field with 2-3 years in similar position;
∎ Demonstrated analytical, motivational, communication, project conceptualization and planning skills.
∎ Experience in overseeing implementation, tracking the progress, reporting against the agreed indicators
∎ Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable and flexible environment;
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely with support functions like finance and logistics, procurement planning.
∎ Independent, positive, can-do attitude and result oriented;
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office as well as familiar to use ERP like Oracle;
