Job Context:
∎ A renowned export-oriented woven-based garments industry (3 associates factories having 170 Sewing lines, exporting more than 4.5 Million pcs garments per month) located in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for a qualified and dynamic candidate as GM/Head of the IE (Industrial Engineering) Department for woven garments manufacturing company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring & controlling overall the IE-related activities of 100% export-oriented woven garments for the entire group.
∎ Study the worker's efficiency and identify their strengths & weaknesses to enhance their skills.
∎ Formulate production plan based on machine manpower; study the m/c layout to achieve optimum productivity.
∎ Develop strategies to achieve Targeted productivity.
∎ Must submit monthly target/achievement reports to the Managing director.
∎ Initiate effective communication skills to motivate and develop professionalism and mental strength for higher productivity among the staff of the production department.
∎ Ensure Effective Utilization of Company Resources.
∎ Time to time report to Managing Director with Strategic functions of Industrial Engineering.
∎ Do Other jobs as per instruction of Managing Director/ Top management when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates currently working in large RMG industry SHOULD APPLY ONLY.
∎ Must be holding top position in IE department of RMG unit at least for last 3 (three) years.
∎ Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant personality.
∎ Must have excellent computer skills especially MS Excel & MS Word.
∎ Must have good communication skill in both English & Bangla.
∎ Must have good knowledge of Production Plan
