University Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) will be given preference.
Masters in HRM from reputed University will be given preference.
Candidates having PGDPM/PGDHRM or Diploma/Degree in compliance will be given preference.
10 or more years in HR and Compliance
Applicants with prior experience in the ready-made garment industry will be given preference.
Applicants with prior experience in group of companies will be given preference.
Must have thorough understanding of the Bangladesh Labour Law
Must be very strong in the English language.

Lead effectively the Human Resource & Compliance Department of a large garment factory and washing plant.
Devise the process of managing and receiving manpower requirements of the factories in the production and supplement departments.
Streamline the manpower requirement and manpower planning.
Prepare appropriate recruitment plan and ensure an apt, just and efficient recruitment practice.
Ensure compliant and appropriate fixation of salary and other benefits.
Manage and execute HR activities such as training, coaching, counseling, appraising of company staff including workers and officers.
Partner with the Administration Department to advise regarding disciplinary procedures and other relevant admin activities.
Ensure harmonic working environment.
Ensure publication of staff motivating literature such as posters, guide-books, hand-books.
Participate in the development of company organisation structure. Participate in the enhancement of company policies and SOPs.
Ensure abidance of the Bangladesh Labour Law and the company policy.
Coordinate with HR & Compliance departments of sister concerns and share information and advise when necessary.
Coordinate with all functions to manage the implementation of a Performance Appraisal System for all employees.
Advise the management on Corporate Social Responsibilities and lead the social activities and programs for the staff and community.
Participate and/or lead the discussions with workers’ representatives such as the Workers’ Participation Committees (WPC), Trade Unions, Collective Bargaining Agencies.
Tactfully mediate between management and workers’ representatives when necessary.
Ensure appropriate grievance handling procedure(s).
Lead all types of internationally recognised social, environmental and safety audits of the factory.
Liaise and support the customers’ compliance departments and third-party auditing firms for the workplace audits.
Liaise and support the relevant government agencies and relevant trade associations’ agencies for the workplace audits.
Engage in analytical and solution-driven discussions with external auditing parties and ensure implementation of the requirements accordingly.
Formulate the Corrective Action Plans (CAP) of the compliance audits and prepare the CAP charts accordingly and accurately. Ensure adherence to the CAP charts.
Prepare an internal auditing team and perform regular, internal audit of the workplaces.
Maintain all compliance related documents efficiently.
Ensure that workplaces maintain the compliance requirements at all times. Ensure workplace to be healthy, safe, hygienic and environmentally friendly.
