Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support in development of existing projects:
∎ 1. Chattogram Medical Project (Medical Treatment, Nutrition, Awareness, IGA Training, Pre-School)
∎ 2. Savar / Dhaka Medical Project (Medical Treatment, Awareness)
∎ 3. Dhaka Education Program (Schools in Manda and Gandaria)
∎ 4. Sreemangal Medical Project (Medical Treatment, WASH, Awareness, Advocacy, IGA Training, SHGs)
∎ 5. Rangpur / Rajshahi Education Project (Schools in Prigacha, Gangachara, Godagari and Tanore)
∎ Provide supervision and ensure compliance including monitoring of finances in existing projects
∎ Represent German Doctors in Bangaldesh to our partner organisations, other NGOs, possible donors and government
∎ Form connection between German Doctors headquarters Bonn and different projects in Bangladesh (current partners: Caritas Dhaka, Caritas Chattogram, Glory, Bangladesh Nazarene Mission, NETZ Bangladesh, JCF, DASCOH, icddr,b)
∎ Support with developing reports, proposals, patient satisfaction surveys, etc.
∎ Develop and maintain a system of documentation and monitoring on project activities and outcomes, conduct regular data analysis and improve data use
∎ Develop reliable networks with governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations
∎ Keep updated about new/updated programs, develop possibilities for new cooperations
∎ Involvement in strategic discussion about sustainability strategies for the projects that are being conducted at German Doctors Bonn
∎ Conduct supervision trips on site, currently in Chattogram, Savar, Dhaka and Sreemangal at least 30% of the time, one trip yearly to Rangpur and Rajshahi
∎ Drive and Implement cross-cutting issues in the projects in Bangladesh (Child Protection, Anti-Corruption, ....)
