Responsibilities & Context: The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that strategic risks are effectively identified, measured, assessed, and treated. Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of risk management frameworks aligned with the organization`s strategic objectives.
Job responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of strategic decisions and initiatives, including identification, assessment, and development of mitigation plans
Lead research and analysis on local and global economic trends, competition, industry dynamics, and emerging risks related to financial inclusion, new products, and technology innovations
Identify, assess, and monitor potential competition risks, collaborating with relevant teams to develop effective risk management strategies
Coordinate the organization`s management of reputational risk, identifying potential exposures, assessing impacts, and implementing mitigation strategies
Prepare and communicate risk reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information on risk identification, assessment, and management
Assist in the implementation and ongoing improvement of strategic risk management frameworks (e.g., reputation, regulatory, competition, financial, ecosystem), aligning them with organizational goals and risk appetite
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating risk information and collaborating on risk mitigation initiatives
Foster a strong risk assessment culture within the organization, encouraging employees to identify and report risks proactively
