Job Context:
∎ Nassa Group, one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh is looking a dynamic, independently working, highly potential and self-driven professional to lead the Merchandising Department as Genaral Manager – Merchandising (Woven). This position is responsible for overall activities and outcomes of merchandising and marketing with integrity and honesty.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and deal with the Buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including marketing, sales, instant price quotation, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production by leading a team effectively.
∎ Keep liaison with Buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning.
∎ To act as a leader among all concerned parties with a view to ensure timely execution and shipments of order.
∎ Play leading role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Work closely and leading a team with in house European designers to meet Buyer's needs.
∎ Have to lead a team of Merchandising & Marketing professionals and execute the taken order very professionally.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years

∎ Volume Business: ZARA, Bershka, PULL & BEAR, Target, JACK & JONES, MANGO, LEVI’S
∎ Candidates having minimum 15 years of experience in managing Merchandising & Marketing activities of export oriented Woven Garments products in reputed manufacturing companies and dealing with EU, USA & UK buyers.
∎ Have conversant to dealing any foreign buyers and managing them competently.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on oven products and its costing and should be capable to follow up orders from order taking to shipment.
∎ Should also have the capacity to source new buyers and maintain effective liaison with existing/new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders and meeting export target.
∎ Should have proven leadership and coordination skills.
∎ Should be self-motivated, sincere and have excellent negotiation skills.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.
