∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Leadership and Good Communication skill., Office Management, Operations Management, Staff Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Livestock
Job Context:
∎ The livestock and agro-based integrated farming project of the company is aimed at growing business together with local farmer through developing local farmers and improving their productivity. We also will assist farmers in promoting and marketing their products. The integrated farming project will cover Livestock, Poultry and Agro-based products and its bi-products through farming of Cow, Goat, Lamb, Chicken, Fish, Fruits and Vegetables. We will have feed-mill, Vermicomposting plant and Bio-gas plant with this integrated firming project.
∎ The positions are full time and permanent subject to successful completion of the 6 months probationary periods
∎ Required qualifications, experience and skills:
∎ Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and B.Sc in Animal Husbandry
∎ Experience: 10-15 years in the area of Livestock and Agro-based Integrated Farming Management
∎ Skills:
∎ Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills.
∎ The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Extensive experience in a farming-related field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, organizing, and managing the operations of the integrated farm including Livestock and Agro-based components
∎ Analyzing existing operations and recommending area needs improvements.
∎ Ensure appropriate and timely management of Livestock and Agro Farm activities
∎ Provide training to project staff and local farmers on livestock and Agro farm management
∎ Actively involve and take the lead in the process of farm management and staff management
∎ Provide support to selected local farmers grow small farm and help create market linkage of the products
∎ Develop and implement safety and security policy of the farm
∎ Ensuring compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.
∎ Responding to emergencies and solving problems effectively.
∎ Ensuring that the farm is profitable and meets projected financial targets.
∎ Organizing maintenance/repair of farm property, equipment and machinery.
∎ Maintaining close liaison, coordination and network with national and sub-national level livestock and agricultural authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
