  • Strong knowledge of dyeing processes, chemicals, and machinery.

  • Experience with modern dyeing technologies and ERP, SAP systems.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Good communication skills in English and Bangla.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in export-oriented knit factories.

  • Knowledge of compliance standards (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, ZDHC).

  • Familiarity with sustainable dyeing practices.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

The GM – Dyeing will be responsible for overseeing the entire dyeing operations in a knit textile manufacturing unit. This role ensures efficient production, quality control, cost optimization, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily dyeing operations (knit fabric dyeing).

  • Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum efficiency.

  • Maintain dyeing quality standards (shade matching, color fastness, consistency).

  • Oversee bulk production, lab dips, and sample approvals.

  • Manage dyeing machines, chemical usage, and process control.

  • Coordinate with knitting, finishing, and quality departments.

  • Optimize resource utilization (water, energy, chemicals).

  • Implement cost control measures and reduce wastage.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

  • Troubleshoot dyeing issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead, train, and develop the dyeing team.

  • Work with buyers/merchandising teams on color approvals and technical requirements.
