A leading Multi-National Courier Company is establishing a Joint Venture operation in Bangladesh and is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and highly experienced professional to lead its nationwide operations as General Manager. This is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing, developing, and managing both Wholesale and Retail Courier business operations across Bangladesh.

JOB ROLE:

The General Manager - Courier Operations is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic growth, and commercial performance of the courier business in Bangladesh. The role includes managing nationwide courier and transportation networks, driving business development and profitability, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing operational and sales teams while supporting business expansion and organizational growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the overall business operations, strategic planning, and commercial growth of the company in Bangladesh.

• Develop and manage nationwide transportation and Retail Courier networks.

• Drive business development, revenue growth, and profitability.

• Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, partners, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

• Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing operational, commercial and sales teams.

• Ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Identify expansion opportunities and execute growth strategies aligned with regional and global objectives
