• In-depth understanding of hospital infrastructure requirements including ICU setups, operating theaters, medical gas pipelines, HVAC for infection control, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale construction projects from planning to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
• Strong knowledge of local and international healthcare construction codes and standards.
• Effective liaison with architects, consultants, hospital administrators, and government bodies to ensure alignment across all phases of construction.
• Strong focus on construction safety protocols, risk assessment, and crisis mitigation in sensitive healthcare environments.
• Commitment to delivering high-standard, durable, and future-ready healthcare facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, negotiation, and stakeholder presentations.

Job Summary

The General Manager – Construction will lead, coordinate, and manage all construction activities for the Jamuna Future Park Hospital Project. Candidates must have proven experience in hospital construction projects—preferably in large-scale facilities such as Evercare Hospital, Square Hospital, United Hospital, or similar healthcare institutions—demonstrating knowledge of healthcare infrastructure, medical compliance standards, and specialized building systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall planning, execution, and completion of the hospital construction project.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow.
• Prepare, review, and approve project timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Monitor day-to-day construction operations to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks, delays, or conflicts on-site.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal standards.
• Manage procurement and vendor relationships for construction materials and services.
• Lead progress meetings, site inspections, and reporting to higher management.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits and compliance approvals.
• Track project milestones and produce regular status updates and reports for stakeholders.
