Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 45 years
∎ a. Have good knowledge on gender equality frameworks, gender mainstreaming, gender analysis.
∎ b. At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant position with experience in gender position, safeguarding position or safeguarding issue, MNCH, SRHR, Adolescent and Youth Development, GBV prevention strategies, networking with health facility and schools under any development organizations.
∎ c. Able to carry out follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing project interventions from gender perspective as per project design.
∎ d. Good analyzing and reporting skills (written and verbal) in both Bengali and English and able to prepare, interpret and disseminate monitoring reporting from gender perspective.
∎ e. Having good interpersonal skills and are able to maintain liaison and coordinate with Government, donor and the networks through teamwork.
∎ f. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines and multitask.
∎ g. Positive attitude, proactive and creative character.
∎ h. Good facilitation and presentation skills.
∎ i. Able to work with vulnerable community with diversity.
∎ j. Able to work in team and lead team.
∎ k. Have good computer knowledge on – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using internet.
∎ l. Able to ride Motor cycle and have valid driving license.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ This position is primarily responsible for promoting gender equality in general and specifically on enjoying gender based SRHR rights by community.
∎ Therefore, this position will train project staff on gender equality perspective and issues so that they can facilitate the process with the community.
∎ Also, this position will conduct gender assessment and produce reports, conduct analysis of gender disaggregated data of the project monitoring indicators for gender analysis.
∎ Also is responsible for developing gender transformative learning materials, training modules, visual aids and monitoring tools.
∎ This position will also responsible for developing appropriate strategy guide for promotion of gender equality for each action plans.
∎ This position will act as the safeguarding focal person of project and will responsible for training staff, orient community on safeguarding issue and conduct monitoring and follow-up on this issue.
