Job Context:
∎ To support the C&A value retailer concept via assuring delivery to its customers of a consistent standard of quality that meets the customer’s fashion, quality and safety expectations at all times, and to ensure best value for money.
∎ To apply best market practice and knowledge in terms of procedures within the supply chain in order to control, assess and monitor the quality standards of C&A Product.
∎ To maintain the level of quality of C&A Product in-line with key competitors.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To carry out counter sample approval as per the C&A counter sample approval procedure, as detailed in the C&A Buying Quality Manual.
∎ To provide technical advice on Product workmanship and technical aspects of fitting in assigned team/teams.
∎ To provide a communication link for quality requirements between team and supply base.
∎ To analyze with Quality Assurance Department all customer complaints and discuss and agree action for improvement with supplier.
∎ To provide technical support for in-house C&A Product development when required.
∎ To provide clear communication to Technical Services Manager/Quality Manager on issues such as potential improvement of Product Standards, procedures, reporting tools etc.
∎ To provide technical support for specific quality projects e.g. Basic Blocks, Quality Product Standards on General Information Network.
∎ Provides support when required for QCC1 activities.
