∎ • Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive, fully functional interfaces.
∎ • Lead frontend and backend development using React.js, Vue.js, Node.js, PHP, and Python as per project requirements.
∎ • Create, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and databases.
∎ • Optimize websites for performance, security, and search engine visibility.
∎ • Manage CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify), including theme/plugin customization and updates.
∎ • Oversee database design, query optimization, and integration with web applications.
∎ • Configure and manage cloud/VPS hosting environments, NGINX servers, and deployment pipelines.
∎ • Regularly perform site maintenance, backups, updates, and security patches.
∎ • Collaborate closely with designers, content teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality web experiences.
∎ • Handle technical documentation, task scheduling, and reporting in alignment with project timelines.
∎ • Support internal IT development needs for Capita Group and its sister concerns, ensuring smooth operation across platforms.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Technical Skills
∎ • Full Stack Development Expertise with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), with a strong focus on scalable backend development.
∎ • Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
∎ • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern frontend frameworks including React.js, Vue.js, and Bootstrap.
∎ • Experienced in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and Python (Django, Flask).
∎ • Knowledge of Next.js, including SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and API routes.
∎ • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL Server.
∎ • Familiar with PHP, .NET, and popular CMS platforms such as WordPress (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
∎ • Understanding of Shopify, WooCommerce, and third-party API integrations.
∎ • Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.
∎ • Sound knowledge of web security practices, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
∎ • Sound knowledge about UI/UX design by using tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
∎ • Experience in server configuration and deployment (Dedicated/VPS, NGINX, FTP/HTTP, Windows/Linux environments).
∎ • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
∎ • Excellent team collaboration, task management, and communication capabilities.
