Experience:

3–5 years of experience in a super shop, preferably in a supervisory role.

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, POS systems).
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Standing for extended periods on the shop floor.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

The Floor In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the floor in “Apon Family Mart”, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing floor staff, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor. This role is critical to ensuring smooth store operations, promoting sales, and upholding company standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Floor Operations Management

  • Supervise and monitor all floor activities to ensure efficient customer service.
  • Ensure all departments are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Implement company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
  • Monitor stock display, shelf tagging, and product rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
  • Ensure all promotional materials are properly displayed.

 

2. Staff Supervision

  • Assign duties and supervise the activities of floor staff (sales assistants, merchandisers, etc.).
  • Train and motivate the floor team to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and manage staff rosters and break schedules.
  • Monitor staff behavior, discipline, and performance.

 

3. Customer Service

  • Ensure all customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Assist customers with product information, location, and availability.

 

4. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and replenishment.
  • Conduct regular floor stock checks to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Report slow-moving or damaged items to the appropriate department.

 

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of daily sales, staff attendance, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly operational reports to the Store Manager.
  • Track and analyze sales trends to identify areas for improvement.
