∎ 1.The Fire Manager will be required to be on-call for emergencies outside of regular working hours.
∎ 2.This position may involve occasional travel to different sites or locations for audits and inspections
∎ 3.Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
∎ 4.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
∎ 5.Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To develop and implement a fire safety program management and maintain a comprehensive fire safety program for the organization, ensuring compliance to local, state an national fire safety regulations.
∎ Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies
∎ Organize and lead fire safety training sessions for employees at all levels, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers and equipment.
∎ Develop, update, and test fire emergency response plans, ensuring that all personnel are familiar with evacuation routes, assembly points, and emergency protocols.
∎ Oversee the regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection equipment, including fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, and emergency lighting systems.
∎ Ensure all fire safety documentation, including inspection records, training logs, and emergency drills, is kept up to date and readily accessible for internal and regulatory review.
∎ Work closely with local fire departments, regulatory bodies and external contractors to ensure compliance with fire safety code and regulations.
∎ Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging fire safety technologies, and new regulations to continually improve the organization's fire safety measures.
