∎ • Bachelor / Master in any discipline from any reputed UGC-approved institute/ BSc In EEE/ Mechanical
∎ • PGD in Fire Science & Technology will add an advantage.
∎ • Training/Trade Course: Fire Safety
∎ • Skills Required: Fire Evacuation Drill, Fire Safety Audit, Fire Safety Training, Firefighter
∎ Skills Required: Fire and Safety

∎ 7 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Fire detection & protection system monitoring.
∎ • Ensure proper functioning of Breathing Apparatus & Maintenance/ Housekeeping of Hydrant system, Detection system, Sprinkler system,
∎ • Ensure Fire extinguishers are in place as per Requirement and in working Condition.
∎ • Ensure the fire pump room is in order and functional at all times.
∎ • Ensure fire-related books, registers, Logs, etc. are correctly maintained on a scheduled basis.
∎ • Regular inspection of fire security posts and sensitive points of the factory.
∎ • Report to management on fire safety from time to time.
∎ • Regular/weekly fire training with the fire safety team & general workers.
∎ • Conduct regular fire drills and emergency evacuation drills to aware employees of any emergency incident.
∎ • Monitor/Supervise the electrical/power cables/lose wires properly placed and take remedial measures immediately with the proper channel.
∎ • Ensure fire License and all other related documents are updated and renewed timely.
∎ • Fire risk assessment of the factory and identify fire hazard areas and take proper preventive measures on a priority basis.
∎ • Maintain & ensure safety in all production areas and ensure a free & and UN-block evacuation for all employees.
∎ • Monitoring Fire Fighter & Rescue Teams and conducting external & internal fire-related training.
∎ • Fire Safety Standards of Accord, Alliance, BNBC, NFPA & Fire Service Rules.
