Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in EEE
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowing the thorough operation of entire finishing area and understanding the inter logic of relevant equipment.
∎ Ensure proper entry of production details into Level-2 system.
∎ Communicate with main pulpit operator regarding heat change, mill start/stoppage, synchronization with rolling mill and finishing area.
∎ Monitoring Constantly on Re-bar delivery from cooling bed to bundle picking and collecting area.
∎ Special attention to be given to the co-workers working at cooling bed area.
∎ Fill up the finishing pulpit logbook meticulously.
∎ Intimate the production shift in-charge regarding functioning of all.
∎ Complete setting of all the elements between finishing stand to cooling bed entry including pinch rolls, tail breakers, PQS and convey pipe etc.
∎ Maintain the uniform weight of bundles and quality of bundle tying.
∎ Ensure proper tag fixing to the bundle with correct details.
∎ Maintain correct discarded length through proper communication with main pulpit operator.
∎ Attend pass change, stand change and size change jobs whenever required.
∎ Ensure proper housekeeping and keeping equipment in order.
∎ Provide support to the cooling bed technician whenever required.
∎ Manual operation of cold shear from LCS whenever required.
∎ Physical inspection from Cooling bed to finishing area for any abnormalities.
∎ Management of Scrap bucket.
∎ Learn the operation of other area as instructed by section manager also extend full support to the other areas when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Basic knowledge of Rolling Mill Operation
∎ Basic computer knowledge
∎ Basic maintenance and fittings knowledge of machines/equipment
∎ Smart, ability to concentrate, good presence of mind
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills
Salary: Negotiable
