Job Context:
∎ RDRS is a leading national development organisation in Bangladesh working for the poor and underprivileged communities across the country with focus on north-west Bangladesh. Established in 1972 as the field programme of Lutheran World Federation, Geneva, RDRS became a national development organisation in 1997 under the Trust Act. RDRS provides development services to over 3 million households in 32 districts through its four broad programmes - civil empowerment, quality of life, food security & environment, and economic empowerment & opportunity.
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications from eligible and deserving candidates to fill up the position of "Finance and Admin Officer" under LWF RDRS Emergency Project. The position based at Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance books of accounts under computerized accounting system and regularly update day to day financial records in accounting software;
∎ Ensuring compliance with Financial and Accounting rules & regulation as per RDRS policies;
∎ Review and check all financial documents according to the organization and audit standard;
∎ Prepare procurement plan coordinating with central management to support in quality and timely procurement;
∎ Provide day to day admin and logistic support to program team maintaining organizational procedures;
∎ Responsible for the processing and approval of cash/check payments to staff, vendors or relevant suppliers;
∎ Calculate applicable VAT/TAX, prepare summary of payment invoices and VAT & Tax deduct deposit as per government rules and regulation;
∎ Produce financial report monthly, quarterly, annually and need based or requirements from donor organization;
∎ Produce audit with FD-4 annually and prepare FD-6 in line with approved budget and commitment:
∎ Prepare management accounts. analyze and support senior management to take decisions;
∎ Prepare compliance checklist and orient project team;
∎ Any other tasks requested by the supervisor that are relevant to the job family and related to RDRS Bangladesh objectives.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three (03) years experience in similar roles;
∎ MS office, Advance in Excel with Accounting software;
∎ Emailing and internet browsing capacity is must;
∎ Work under pressure and meeting deadlines;
∎ Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)

∎ As per Organizational Policy and Project budget.
