  • Motorcycle driving ability is an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:

Duration: 12-14 Months (project period)

Report To: Project Coordinator/Output Officers

Key Contexts:

The Fisheries Livelihood Enhancement Project (FiLEP) is implemented by the Department of Fisheries (DoF) with technical and financial support from JICA, aiming to enhance the resilience and livelihood security of artisanal fishing communities in Cox’s Bazar. The Livelihood and Nutrition Component (FiLEP-LNC), implemented by Nature Conservation Management (NACOM), NewVision Solution Limited (NVSL), and Mukti Cox’s Bazar, targets 1,500 fisher households with a focus on: Livelihood diversification, Nutrition-sensitive interventions, Women’s empowerment, and strengthened compliance with marine conservation measures

To strengthen its field-level activities, NACOM, NewVision, and Mukti Cox’s Bazar are seeking applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Field Facilitator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize communities through village and household selection, profiling, beneficiary identification, and group formation.

  • Conduct participatory assessments such as household surveys, KIIs, PRAs, and FGDs.

  • Support implementation and monitoring of Alternative Income Generating Activities (AIGAs), including business planning, input distribution, production tracking, and follow-up.

  • Deliver capacity-building sessions on fisheries management, livelihood improvement, climate-smart practices, and nutrition-sensitive approaches.

  • Assist the MEAL team in updating monitoring data, reports, production records, and distribution documents.

  • Coordinate with local government institutions, Department of Fisheries officials, Upazila administration, and community stakeholders.

  • Work under the supervision of Output Officers in coordination with the Project Coordinator and Team Leader.

  • Organize trainings, meetings, workshops, exposure visits, and stakeholder consultations.

  • Supervise community volunteers, Blue Guards, and local facilitators, providing guidance and mentoring.

  • Support budget preparation, procurement, financial documentation, and administrative tasks.

  • Prepare and submit timely field reports and carry out additional tasks assigned by project leadership.
